続・英語でアート！のマンツーマンレッスン。

『英語でアート！』（マール社／佐藤実・宮本由紀共著）の由紀さんに、期間限定のマンツーマンレッスンを受けています、と書いたのは昨12月のことでした。

英語でアート！のマンツーマンレッスン。

つい先日5回講座の3回目が終わり、残すところあと2回です。60分間の英語でのコミュニケーションを通してつくづくと感じるのは、先生の言い回しや言葉の選び方の美しさ。同じようなことを伝えるにも、どんな単語を使うか、どんな言い方をするかによって印象がまったく変わること、洗練された言葉遣いとはどういうことかを強く感じる時間となっています。レッスン中は、なるほど！と思うのですが、これが自分の中に定着しないことには、とっさに口から出てくるようにはなりません。

ということで、以下「おお！」な言い回しの備忘。

He finds importance in his “animal boxes” creations, which draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the charm of old antique objects.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration for him.
He hopes that viewers will appreciate the beauty and diversity in the natural world through his work.
The graceful forms and delicate details in the pieces reflect the harmony that can be found in nature.
I hope viewers can sense the harmony in his work.
I personally find a delightful and lighthearted in his work.
He is influenced by many artists spanning different periods, using various mediums across genres.
He appreciates both old and new art.
Perhaps all of these works are unconsciously fixed in his mind.
Fantastical human hybrid such as mermaids and invented creatures, are often recurring subjects.
Many of these creatures are inspired by manga comics and animation.
He tries to bridge the gap between his fantastical ideas and the real world by creating whimsical characters.
If he were to chose only one period, it would be the Renaissance.
While there isn’t a specific intention, he appears to excel in creating small, palm-sized works.
However, this year, he is venturing into the creation of larger pieces compared to his usual scale.
His trip to Carrara last year may have inspired him to work on a grander scale.
This change will make things interesting for both the artist and the viewer, providing diverse perspectives.
Usually his works come from an inner aesthetics.
There was only one instance when he reacted to an incident in the world around him.
